The Kerry Blue Terrier Association hosted their annual Championship show at Great Bridgeford Hall on Sunday 5th April 2009, very generously sponsored by Dezynadogs
Eoin Jones (Jondry) was our Judge for the day, drawing an overall entry of 36 dogs, with 6 absentees, making 30 dogs on the day.
Being back-to-back with National Terrier on the Saturday, Great Bridgeford Hall was a new venue for this show, easily accessible from the M6 (only a few miles from Bingley Hall), with plenty of trimming space, a real treat to trim outside in the sunshine.  We all know that nowadays venues to hold dog shows are very few and far between, this is a gem of a venue and we need to try and keep it. Many thanks to Liz Earle, Bridget McGeown, Kelly Reynolds, Becki and Peter Ensell, for rolling up their sleeves to make sure that everyone was fed and watered. Thank you to all of the Officers of the Club, Dezynadogs for their generous sponsorship and everyone involved with this show, who made for an enjoyable and smooth running day

My thanks to the committee and exhibitors for making my day a pleasant one. Presentation and handling were overall  of a good standard but attention needs to be paid to movement in our breed.
 Minor Puppy Dog (2)
1.Cooper & Dales Lynnsto High Voltage. Smart youngster very impressive with a good reach of neck, neat head , dark eye , nice tail set, well balanced. A little unsure of the ring surface but has good potential.
2.Moss & Clarke’s Black Magic At Kopykats . A promising dog that needs to settle well balanced , nice head, topline and tailset. 
Puppy Dog (2)
1.Davani’s Granemore Maximillian At Kebulak.  Nice head and ears, good reach of neck, lovely coat , good topline and tail set. Impressive young dog who moved well. Well presented and handled.
2. Wilkinson’s Granemore Padraig At Cranmoss. He was a little too lively and would not settle. Overall , well balanced,good topline and tailset , just needs time to show himself to advantage.
Novice Dog (2)
1.Moss & Clarkes Black Magic At Kopykats
2.Davies  Brandyn The Mighty Atom. Heavier in the head than 1, but has a nice cobby body, dark eye, correct bite, nice wavy coat.

1.Pinfold’s Cyres Master Craftsman  Well balanced dog with nice coat and colour, nice head and neck , short back. Well presented and handled.

1. Walter’s Kenmileven First Class For Kamaghan. Good head and ear carriage. Nice reach of neck, good shoulder, nice tail set, nice coat well presented.
2.Martin’s Namaz De La Cadiera At Clanciarrai.  Very close up to the class winner, good head and ears, nice reach of neck,good tail set well presented and handled.
3.Ward’s Rimbert Phantom Menace
 Open DOG (5 I abs)  A top quality class.
1.Cooper & Dales Sw./Dan. Ch Rollick’s Fool For Fame  Good head and ear carriage, good topline, good shoulders, nice coat and colour well balanced , moved well. I was pleased to award him the CC which is his third I believe. BIS
2.Carvey & Davani’s Arkama Pinball Wizard At Philwyre. A nice dog close up to the winner, could have used his ears more, nice head . Good reach of neck, nice topline, good coat colour. Moved well, nicely presented and handled. Res CC

1.Walters Kamaghan Diva . Promising, with nice head, good reach of neck, short back, nice spring of rib moved well.
 Novice Bitch (1)
1.Phillips Brandyn Eternal Flame. A little exciteable so did not help herself. Dark eye good bite, short back with a good spring of rib.
Graduate bitch (3. 1abs)
1. Peacock’s Cranmoss Millie. Nice long head, dark gums, correct bite, good reach of neck.  Nice coat & colour good tailset, would have liked her a little smaller. Moved very well.
2. Brandyn Eternal Flame.
Post Graduate Bitch (5)
1.Earle & Kelly’s Dollagh Razzle Dazzle Em. Good head and ears , dark eye , good bite nice short back, good coat, moved well, has all the essentials. Well prepared and handled.
2. Pinfold’s Cyres Glamorous,  A cobby bitch with a nice reach of neck, short back with a good spring of rib. Tail on top, needs a little more time to mature to see her at her best.
3.Ensell’s Born Of An Angel

1.Linsdell’s Lunabrook Penny Lane .  Nice head, good reach of neck, running into good shoulders , level topline, nice coat and colour, decent tailset, moved well. Res CC 
2.Clarke & O’Neil’s Lemracdream Memphis Belle. Another nice bitch slightly bigger than 1.Very dark but very well made, lovely reach of neck and nice topline and short back.
3.Cooper & Dale’s Kamaghan On A Mission for Lynnisto

!. Walter’s Kamaghan Mighty Aphrodite,  very femine bitch with a neat head and ears, short back , good tailset, lovely coat, excelled in movement really covered the ground. I was pleased to award her the CC.
2.Walker’s Naughty But Nice At Kopykats. Good head and ear carriage, nice reach of neck good shoulder,well balanced. A lot to like about this bitch, should have a good future.
3.Nagle’s Granemore Imperial Beauty Of Colinca
